Chain leashes are an ideal choice for dogs who try to bite at or chew on their leash when being walked. Nylon and leather leashes can fray and break when compromised by a mouthy dog or teething puppy, but chain leashes provide an automatic correction to help the dog retrain themselves not to chew on leashes. This chain leash is made in the USA using polished chrome plated steel chain and full grain bridle leather.

Bridle leather is an luxury grade of leather used for harnesses and equestrian equipment because of it's high strength to thickness ratio and the fact that this type of leather grows butter soft- but no weaker- the more it is used. The leather handle has beveled edges that are hand polished for comfort, and then assembled with a swivel bolt snap and bright nickel-plated capped rivets.

Chain Sizes: Light chains are 2.0mm in diameter,  Medium 2.5mm,  Heavy 3.0mm, and X-Heavy 4.0mm.

4ft or 6 foot lengths. (We recommend a long, light chain lead for small dogs, and a short, heavy chain lead for large muscular dogs that pull)
